First developed by the Kettler Brothers in the mid-1950’s, the brick colonials, ramblers, and split level homes have kept their classic look over the years. In 1960, Falls Hill was one of 17 award-winning neighborhoods selected by the American Home Magazine as the best new homes in America. The neighborhood also won the Southern Region award for quality construction, attractiveness, and extreme livability.
Residents often say they come for house design, large lots and wide streets, but find the best part of the community is our friendly neighbors. Falls Hill has an active civic association, which engages with county and state officials. The association also holds well attended block parties and socials in the neighborhood, and a Halloween parade.
The boundaries of the Falls Hill neighborhood are designated for voluntary membership in the Falls Hill Civic Association. Regardless of membership, all households within these boundaries are eligible for member accounts on the fallshill.org site. Households outside the boundaries may join as a non-resident member after paying the annual dues.
